Cute little place downtown Ashland City. At first, I thought it was pretty pricey, but I was willing to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. I got the BLT and added chicken. First of all, you can tell the ingredients are top notch, high quality. The sous vide chicken was tender and flavorful, and the sandwich was very large. The cashier was very friendly and knowledgeable and was very quick to accommodate my special request. The chef himself, delivered my sandwich with a smile and a thank you. I had a delicious lunch and will definitely be back. High quality ingredients, excellent service, and excellent flavor were definitely worth the price point. A fantastic addition to Ashland City, and a nice change of taste from the other restaurants in the area.

The food is great and the people who work there are just as much. Will definitely visit again. Nice portions. Homemade breads. Great food, but fear, it will not make it. Would be better if they had seating and were able to offer more of a sit-down option. The store may be cramped, but it is definitely full of love for foodies. It's a little more pricey than I think Ashland City will support, but hopefully, I'm wrong. It's good guality food. Show them love. Yummy.

Metta Cafe has the absolute best and healthiest food you'll find in all of Ashland City, TN! There is always something new to try with their constantly changing specials and baked goods. Everything at Metta is made from scratch with the best ingredients and plenty of love. You can tell with every bite. The atmosphere and staff are both comforting and welcoming. With an inside countertop eating area and a few outside bistro tables for a more personal dining experience. There is even a grab-n-go station for those of us constantly on the move with no time to sit and eat. Today, I snagged the most delectable shrimp salad from that station. It certainly was not disappointing! Stop by Metta Cafe in Ashland City for the best breakfast or lunch around!!!

Had their Italian sandwich at a pop up at Monday Night Brewing and it was phenomenal! Extremely delicious with shaved meats, freshly prepared ingredients, and on the best focaccia I’ve had in a VERY long time. 100% go for it!!!

I ordered the Italian sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie. I have got to say this is the best sandwich I have eaten! The care and thought that was put into every ingredient was amazing. Very clean, and super fresh. Most everything is locally sourced and some of the meats are imported from Italy. I could just eat the bread all by itself! The sandwich was so big that there was no way I could eat both halves at one time, so I basically got two meals. The chocolate chip cookie was enormous and delicious!

THE BEST caprese sandwich, hands down, that I have ever had! The bread was divine! The pesto and balsamic was outstanding. What a great spot to sit and have lunch. The owners were so friendly and I could tell serving good food was important to them. They make all items in store, even the bread! I will be back.

I am super happy with this quality cafe addition to growing Ashland City. Metta Café is a small café that delivers great flavor. It is a must-stop if you care about what you eat since they are not your average cafe. Everything is meticulously prepared in front of the customers by Chef Akshay Soni and his crew. They do have a great grab-and-go selection if you are in a hurry and can’t wait for your meal to be made to order. I have tried their chocolate and plain croissants, walnut chocolate chip giant cookies, blueberry crumble cake muffin, lamb pastry, chicken Caesar salad, the 90 Miles and Turkey sandwiches, energy bites, and hummus. I loved every single one of them so far! Today, I tried while waiting for my bacon, egg, and cheddar breakfast biscuit, Chef Ashkay's take on the traditional Lorraine quiche, and his version was superb! It had basil, my favorite herb, thinly sliced zucchini, mushrooms, ham, and, of course, eggs and cheese. Please don't go by the menu since they always have something new to offer. The whole crew is super friendly and welcoming, and I sincerely hope this brings more quality restaurants and cafes to our town run by passionate chefs like Chef Ashkay.

The owner is super passionate about his food. Everything is fresh and super tasty. And it's nice to have alittle English flare in ashland city. Highly recommend everything. Especially the blt!
